Q – Does home teeth whitening work for everybody ?

A- No – You can only bleach natural teeth. Not bondings, veneers or crowns. Consult your dentist if you have untreated cavities, gum disease, or if the enamel of your tooth is thinned out and in case of really dark stains. Teeth bleaching is not recommended for pregnant and breast feeding women.

A. – Studies show that home teeth whitening is safe and gives you results, but you won’t find a impartial study between products themselves. The only studies available are done by manufacturers themselves, so a study conducted by Crest will say Crest Strips are the best product. So, to choose the best teeth whitening for you, you will have to consider convenience, price, and effectiveness

A. - Yes. When used appropriately, meaning follow the instructions on the box. Clinical studies report that over the counter teeth whiteners are safe and effective. The only side effect reported is teeth irritation and sensitivity.

Since no treatments are permanent, you may want to repeat the treatments. There is no studies for long term teeth whitening. (example : you bleach your teeth once or twice a year for 40 years) It doesn’t mean it’s risky, it just means there is no studies on it.
